Harford County residents can now apply for and renew dog licenses conveniently online. The new online feature saves time for pet owners who were previously required to visit the county administration building in Bel Air or mail forms to the Harford County Department of Inspections, Licenses & Permits. While these options will remain, the new online process makes it easier than ever before for dog owners to comply with the law.
Licenses are required in Harford County to ensure that all dogs in the community are vaccinated against rabies. Licenses also help to document pet ownership.
Whether applying for, or renewing a license, users of the online service follow a simple two-step process to register an account through the Harford County e-Permit Center on the county website at https://bit.ly/2t5q9Cn.
Once the account is approved, dog owners then upload proof of rabies vaccination and pay for licenses through their account. License expiration dates will coincide with the vaccine expiration dates.
“With thousands of licensed dogs in Harford County, our new online feature will improve customer service and efficiency, which has been a goal of my administration,” County Executive Barry Glassman said. “Most importantly, it will safeguard our community and our four-legged friends.”
Dog licenses should be free for anyone who rescues a dog, has them fixed and chipped. Just another collection bin for harford county.

If you don’t get a license for your dog, does the government come and change it into a cat?
I have little issue with pet owners obtaining a dog license. If the dog becomes lost and the tag is visible, it’s another tool to find and reunite the owner with their dog. Having the fee for the license should be used towards low cost spay and neuter programs, another avenue to control the pet population.
I would pay the fee if all of it went directly to the humane society of Harford County.
Except the Humane Society of Harford County is a terrible shelter and charges excessively for adoption and their veterinarians dont deserve a license.
My dog doesn’t have a license so I just don’t let him use the car.

The people are your “constituents”, not your customers. You are selling a tax. A license is nothing but a tax. A license is nothing but the government taking a right from you and selling it back to you as a privilege. Let’s be honest about what is going on here. If you want to own a dog, you must have vaccinations and we will sell you a license if you follow our rules and regulations. This is the bottom line.
Furthermore, due to Harford County Circuit Court case numbers 12K09002034 & 12K10000013, all taxation in the State of Maryland, Harford County and the entirety of the United States is forfeit. I urge ALL Marylanders and United States citizens to simply attach these case numbers to your tax returns for a FULL refund of all withholdings. I will defend you under my blanket of Constitutional Authority brought to you by the traitors of the Harford County Circuit Court. Especially the traitor Elizabeth Bowen, as she even authored a “Memorandum Opinion” steeped in fraud and treason to prevent a law suit. She would rather commit treason than allow the State to be sued. If WE THE PEOPLE do NOT have our rights, then you the government does NOT get a tax. There is no authority to suspend right to force a behavior change nor is there any authority to regulate the behavior of WE THE PEOPLE by the Federal government. These are ALL acts of fraud and treason. Why on earth would you pay your government to commit treason against you?

Better yet, “Facetious says not as Facetious do”. However, if you really think about it, doesn’t it seem legally correct. If the people don’t have the enumerated rights then why does the government expect to retain its enumerated power? Covenants are covenants. They are expected to be honored by both sides of the aisle. Besides, why would you need to “test” the theory when this is what our Constitution tells us?

I can do better than that. Our dog identifies itself as a human and my mother even treats him like one. Funny thing, if I shit on the kitchen floor I would be scolded and forced to clean it up. However, she will happily clean it up for the dog and tell him what a good boy he was for NOT doing it on the carpet. I guess I’ll just have to relieve myself on the legs of the tables and chairs to mark my territory….
