From the Harford County Health Department:
May is Hepatitis Awareness Month and May 19th is national Hepatitis Testing Day in the United States. Millions of Americans have chronic viral hepatitis and most of them do not know they are infected. Hepatitis Testing Day is an opportunity to remind health care providers and the public who should be tested for viral hepatitis.
The Harford County Health Department is offering a no-cost Hepatitis-C testing day on Friday, May 18th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the 1 North Main Street location in Bel Air.
Hepatitis C is a liver infection caused by the Hepatitis C virus. It is a blood-borne virus and most people become infected with the virus by sharing needles or other equipment to inject drugs. Here are four things you should know about viral hepatitis:
1. Hepatitis A, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are all different diseases.
Each type of hepatitis is caused by a different virus and spread in different ways. Hepatitis A does not cause a long-term infection, although it can make people very sick. Hepatitis B and hepatitis C can become chronic, life-long infections and lead to serious health problems.
2. Chronic hepatitis is a leading cause of liver cancer.
Chronic hepatitis B and C can cause serious damage to the liver, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer. In fact, more than 60 percent of liver cancer cases are related to hepatitis B or C.
3. Most people with chronic hepatitis do not know they are infected.
More than four million Americans are living with chronic hepatitis in the United States, but most do not know they are infected. Many people live with chronic hepatitis for decades without symptoms or feeling sick.
4. Getting tested could save your life.
Lifesaving treatments are available for chronic hepatitis B and new treatments are available that can cure hepatitis C Still, getting tested is the only way to know if you are infected.

Soul Crusher, please take notice.
SoulCrusher says
Why? I have never used intravenous drugs in my entire life. I have been tested for Hepatitis, including Hepatitis C, on multiple occasions and never has it come up as positive for any of the strains. The last time I got tested was in October of last year, all on YOUR dime. Furthermore, this is something going on in YOUR County and I do NOT step foot into Harford County. There is no need for me to take notice, perhaps you should heed your own advice.

What about herpes?
SoulCrusher says
Nope, don’t have that or any other disease. Sorry to disappoint you.

Well worth the testing. Picked it up from mass vaccines with air injectors in the military in late 70’s, found out I had it in 2009 and cured with Harvoni. Definitely get tested.
Noel Myers says
I learned I had gonorrhea and syphillus after a test in Ohio. I agree – get checked out.
SoulCrusher says
If you didn’t know you had gonorrhea then your physical hygiene is just disgusting. That is something that has definite signs, both visible and painful, that you should notice in less than a month.
Noel Myers says
I noticed I was very tired, and started to show lesions and pus. Finally, the sores popped and I knew I needed to get treatment. I am glad I got tested. I hope others do as well.
When I was younger, my partner had genital warts and ignored the signs. He regreted it.
Judy says
Soul Crusher, syphilis is serious and i recommend you get checked out. LOL!!!

I refer you to my comment made on May 18th, 2018 at 6:20 p.m. and have nothing more to say to a common little Troll like you.
Minion says
This article has nothing to do with any of the issues that interest the SoulCrusher, yet the first comment invokes him, presumably with malice. That’s pretty sad.
Then, there are attacks suggesting he has STD’s. That’s classy…and kind of a weak approach. It easily sets the SoulCrusher up to suggest that he may have contracted these illnesses from intimate contact with any of the posters’ family members.
Can’t these trolls debate the SoulCrusher about a pertinent topic, or are ad hominem attacks the best they can do? Pathetic.
SoulCrusher says
I think…. wait…. no I don’t. Nevermind.
SoulCrusher says
I think you’ve done enough pretending. Everyone can see you’re nothing but a Troll.
SoulCrusher says
stop the trolling
SoulCrusher says
Look, you just don’t have the ummphh to be the Crusher of Souls. Anyone who follows the Dagger knows what I am all about and they also know that you’re not me. You can like it or you don’t have to like it, but you better learn to love it Troll because I am the one. I have always been the one. I will always be the one and that is final….
SoulCrusher says
I think you’ve done enough pretending. Everyone can see you’re nothing but a Troll.
SoulCrusher says
Wow, you can’t even come up with your own comments. So were going to play repeater like on “Super Troopers”. Can you say “Galifianakis”?
SoulCrusher says
Please stop
