Aberdeen Native, NBA Player Gary Neal Returns Home for Holiday Giveaway

NBA free agent and Aberdeen, MD native Gary Neal will host a holiday toy give away in Aberdeen on Saturday, December 17 at 2 p.m. at Supreme Cutz on W. Bel Air Avenue. Neal last played for the Washington Wizards in the 2015-16 season and has also played with the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Prior to the NBA, he played for Towson University.

Gary Neal and his five-year-old son will distribute gifts to approximately 150 local youth. Neal will also distribute signed t-shirts and there will be photo opportunities for kids. The holiday giveaway is open to all local kids on a first come, first served basis. Because Neal has played professionally both overseas and in the NBA since declaring for the 2007 NBA Draft, he has not been able to participate in a holiday event in his hometown. He has enjoyed NBA holiday events in his team markets, but he is looking forward to the opportunity to give back to the Aberdeen community this holiday season.
