Kiss-A-Pig Contest Raises Over $45,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County

From the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County:

Club members and staff of Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County are squealing with delight at the success of this year’s annual Kiss-A-Pig contest and fundraiser. Held in conjunction with the MD State BBQ Bash held in Bel Air on Friday, August 12, 2016, the Kiss-A-Pig event raised over $45,000 to support the 4 Clubs in Harford County.

Eleven teams worked tirelessly holding bull roasts, pancake breakfasts, selling raffle tickets, paint nights and sponsoring happy hours to raise money and bring awareness to the Great Futures that begin through supported programs at the Clubs.

The top fundraiser this year was Team APGFCU, raising over $8,500. Rachel Brush, Kevin Balliet, Pooja Bhatia, Jennifer Housley and Lisa Martin were the masterminds behind the success of Team APGFCU.
