A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for August 7th shooting on Angus Drive. The reward is for up to $1,000.00 dollars for the arrest and conviction in the case. All tips should be directed to Detective Divel of the Aberdeen Police Department Criminal Investigations Divisions at 410-272-2121. All tips will remain anonymous.
This reward is being offered by the family of the victim. The Aberdeen Police Department will act as the intermediary between the family and the information source responsible for facilitating the arrest and conviction; however, the Aberdeen Police Department is not responsible for any monetary payment.

A witness to this shooting was identified and provided a description of the alleged shooter identifying the person as a white male, dressed in Khaki shorts, wearing a white tee shirt, approximately 5’7” to 5’10” in height and armed with an unknown handgun.
The victim in this case, a male in his 50’s, is still recovering at MD Shock Trauma where his condition is categorized as critical but stable.

On Sunday, August, 7 2016, at approximately 8:41 PM, the Aberdeen Police Department responded to the 200 block of Angus Drive for a report of shots fired.
Responding officers found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside the residence and immediately summonsed medical assistance. The gunshot victim was transported by Aberdeen Fire and EMS to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma where he is currently in critical condition.
