From the Aberdeen Police Department:
On Monday, August 29, 2016, at approximately 1:10 AM, officers were dispatched to the Unit Block of Lewis Drive for a report of a home invasion.
Arriving officers quickly located a male victim, 34, who reported a tall black male forcibly entered his home and assaulted him. The attack was thwarted after the victim was able to push the suspect from the residence. The suspect then fled the scene in a red Ford Ranger driven by a white female with blonde hair.
Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
The victim was transported by Aberdeen Fire Department Medic Unit #292 to Harford Memorial hospital for treatment of his injuries sustained during the altercation.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Aberdeen Police Department at 410-272-2121 and request to speak with Detective Alexander.

I just can’t understand it. A black man committing a home invasion/burglary. Tell me it ain’t so. In our politically correct world on every home security system commercial ever shown on TV the suspect is always a white person. Have you ever noticed? Those home security companies don’t want to be accused as being racist. After watching those commercials I am mortified that a black person would even think of committing such a crime. They are always totally innocent victims……Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner…….None of them guys did anything to contribute to their own ends. At least that is the thought process of a great many black people in this country.
Check out all the insurance company commercials as well. All the white people are represented as dumb, redneck hicks, and all the African Americans are shown as Ward Cleaver.
This has been going on for some time now… when they show a white and an African American or an Asian, the white person is always the idiot… man and a woman of same color and the man is always the idiot. My kids and I make a game of picking up on it. Most Americans are too stupid to see how they’re being manipulated. Most of it (obviously not all but most) is directed against males and predominately against white males. If you don’t believe that just watch the commercials with an unbiased eye and really observe what is being portrayed.
You have a black man, who is a self proclaimed hater of white people, assassinate numerous police officers in Dallas out of pure racial hatred and the Attorney General and the liberal media dance around calling it a hate crime. Talk about contributing to a racial divide. All black people are not always victims. Admit it. I don,t have a problem with inter-racial relationships. My son in law is black. I am only asking people to act as a civilized member of society and to respect authority and the law. Racial divide these days is caused by so many blacks thinking that the laws do not pertain to them. With great frequency they defy the police and authority and cause undo confrontation. Sadly the media and cell cameras don’t start rolling until the police are forced to go hands on. You rarely if ever see the real story. Blacks want respect and should receive it but they should also properly assimilate in to the ordered society. Why do so many refuse to do that? Fifty years ago gay people were discrimated against and faced horrible bias. Recently there positions have become public. Very few people today have a problem with gay people. Why? Gay people, unlike so many blacks, got their message across and have assimilated in to the ordered society. Unfortunately all too many blacks want respect but do little to earn it by their actions.
Do you realize that people can hide their sexuality??? You can’t hide being black–just ask your son-in-law. Don’t try doing that lame comparison on being gay vs. being black. There is a very big difference!! (Just ask your son-in law…assuming he’s not in jail.)

You missed my point. I don’t really think in today’s climate people need to hide their sexuality. Gay people have “come out” and proudly proclaimed their feelings and positions. The difference between gays and so many blacks is their actions. Gays have “come out” and properly assimilated in to the ordered society. All too many blacks fail to do that.They want respect but do not want to earn it. They frequently defy police and authority and wonder why the biases continue. In the 50’s and 60’s prejudice was rampant and occurred out of pure ignorance. There were no excuses for such behavior. I will be the first to admit that my grandfather made Archie Bunker look like an ultraliberal. Those days and those people are dying off. Today very few people care if a black family lives next door or get upset when they see inter-racial couples or children. What blacks have to understand is current day racial bias and divide is caused, to a great degree, by the way blacks represent. They want respect but continue to defy authority, routinely and with disproportionate frequency, and frequently abuse public assistance programs. The government builds excellent public housing and in less than 2 years the occupants turn the area in to a crime ridden slum. They then asked for new housing to be built. Sadly, I can not name one town or city in the U.S. where blacks have become the majority that got better. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong. Failure of blacks to properly assimilate in to an ordered society is the cause of distrust, prejudice, and racial divide. If blacks stepped up to the plate, acknowledge that they could do a lot more, and represent better, there standing would change. Oh, and by the way, my black son in law is not in prison like you suggested. He is a research chemist and a wonderful person…..and one more thing, he agrees with me.
