From the Aberdeen Police Department:
On Monday, June 13, 2016, at approximately 3:15 AM, the Aberdeen Police Department responded to the unit block of E. Bel Air Avenue in reference to shots fired.
Officers responded and located an unresponsive female, Taneisha C. Smothers, 31, of Aberdeen, and a critically injured male, Jumal R. Dudley, 43, of Havre de Grace, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The female was pronounced dead at the scene and the male was transported by Maryland State Police Medevac to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators quickly determined that there was no longer an active shooter threat so no school or other community activities were altered as a result of this incident.
Anyone with information concerning this incident should contact the Aberdeen Police Department at 410-272-2121 and request to speak to Det. Divel.
Prayers for these families. I am so very sorry.
Surveillance videos?
Readers may want to check out MD case search and wonder why Mr. Dudley was out at at 3 in the morning and then ask yourself what he might have been up to. That might shed some light on the rest of the story. Good day.
What exactly was he doing then? We all know what they say about assumptions…
What the hell is going on?
Not wishing death on anyone but just wondering if he was actually serving his four year sentence for armed robbery he might actually still be alive in jail.
So 2 questions.
1 If they do not know who the shooter is-how could they determine there is no active shooter?
2. What is happening to the town of Aberdeen…this is becoming a usual occurrence lately.
The first names of the victims might give you a clue as to the answer to your second question.
Look, another racist inneundo Harford county resident. Keep stroking the barrel of your firearm (that you’re going to have to turn in with a ban) while gawking at your Confederate flag and quoting the Bible.
When all these old assed racist retire to Florida, finally the Democrat majority will be able to live up here without prejudice.
That’s nice, but there’s still a strong connection between the urban black community and violence. That house has to be cleaned from the inside.
I said I would not comment on this site but I have changed my mind there are two people that are no longer here may they please!!!!!!!!!RIP To the families I’m praying for everyone God Bless
Aberdeen is a dump. No good stores, no reason to go there.
Because all those dollar store’s in Havre de grace are exceptional places to shop…
Aberdeen just needs another developer to come in and build a bunch more cookie cutter houses no one wants to buy.
Maybe they build them where the empty McDonalds and empty Musical Inn are now to at least get better curb appeal.
