Look at the list. Another example of the Historic Society rubbing the backs of the elites through-out the county and not recognizing “the little guy” for achievements in helping to educate and preserve Harford County’s heritage. I know of someone who entered their name who went over and beyond putting Harford County on the map through-out the State in media revealing a Historic Landmark that is NOW demolished with not so much of a mention. Good luck to this organization in the future. I suspect to see the same names year after year.

Harford County Citizen,
I’m writing just as a quick correction to your comment. The Historical Society of Harford County is not responsible for the Harford County Historic Preservation Awards. The recipients of these awards are decided upon by the Historic Preservation Commission, an organization completely separate from the Historical Society. Any criticisms or comments on the selection process or the recipients of these awards should be directed towards the Historic Preservation Commission as the Historical Society has no say in who does or does not receive an award.
