JUNE 5 LET THE MUSIC BEGIN..SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IN BEL AIR WITH THE SUSQUEHANNA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. Free concert in Shamrock Park at the Humbert Amphitheatre at 7 PM. (Lee and Hickory Ave) Bring your lawn chairs and pack a picnic. This year the SSO will feature Gershwin – Sousa – Rossini – Jon Williams’ “Hymn to the fallen” and the great finale “Sousa’s” “ STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER”
JUNE 5 THOMAS RUN CHURCH ANNUAL SERVICE Join an old time praise and worship service with special music and reflect back on a by-gone era in a church originally built in the 1700’s. The church is located at 2546 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air, Md. 21015. The service will begin at 2:00 pm. Refreshments will be served after the service. JUNE 11 EMMANUEL EPISCOPAL CHURCH Spring outreach to fill the food pantry. At the corner of Broadway and North Main Street. 10 am to 2 pm Donations of diapers ( all sizes) canned goods, cereals, pasta, rice, pop-tarts and canned meats all accepted. Free admission, games for the kids, free hot dogs and homemade goodies.
JUNE 12 BAND DAY IN BEL AIR…..EXCITING..PATRIOTIC AND HOME TOWN. Beginning at 1:00 PM in Shamrock Park at the Humbert Amphitheatre THE BEL AIR COMMUNITY BAND will host six of the best community bands in Maryland.

JUNE 14 The ARMY’S 241 BIRTHDAY.. A Birthday Social at Ruggles Golf Course beginning at 1600 hrs. (4 PM) This event is open to everyone to celebrate the contribution soldiers have to the national defense of the United States.

JUNE 16 BOOK TALK AND LUNCHEON at the Liriodendron Mansion. Get the inside scoop on great summer reads! Librarians from Harford County Public Library will be on hand at the Liriodendron to inform you about the books for young adults, and adults that are exciting the literary world.
This noon day gathering complete with Wine and Cheese to begin, followed by an excellent lunch is limited to the first one hundred registrants. Call the Liriodendron today to reserve your seat. JUNE 17 A “Night With the Wild,” a charity event to benefit the nonprofit Susquehannock Wildlife Society at Deer Creek Overlook. Guests will enjoy fine food, wine, craft beers, open bar, live and silent auctions, rare and exquisite jewelry raffles, Big Stakes Gaming Wheel, 50/50 rescue raffle, music to stir your inner animal moves, and a very special visit and photo opportunity with some wild guests of honor. 7 pm to midnight at Deer Creek Overlook in Rocks State Park.
