From the Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office:
At an annual ceremony in the Courthouse, State’s Attorney Joe Cassilly recognized those officers from the various Harford County law enforcement agencies who do an outstanding job enforcing dui laws. The officers are identified by their agencies as putting forth a significant effort to get drunk drivers off the road.
“We don’t want the graduations and weddings celebrated this time of year to become tragedies,” said Cassilly, “and this recognition is a reminder to be aware of what you drink and the need for a designated driver, because these officers will be out there.”

Get Real says
How about some recognition of the officers saving us from the distracted soccer Moms talking and texting while driving?
SoccerMom says
I’m sure they do that a lot as well but there’s just no award ceremony. One of them stopped me last week for talking on my cell phone in Bel Air, he was right to stop me I was an idiot not paying attention to the road.
I Feel Shocked says
Cool, now how about we start addressing the Heroin epidemic in our County?
Matt Nelson says
Apparently Havre DeGrace Police don’t care too much about catching drunk drivers. They only have 1 officer who got an award and he has the least amount of anyone who got the award. I guess it’s acceptable to get drunk and drive in Havre DeGrace City Limits.
