From the Harford County Public Library:
Mystery and suspense author Laura Lippman will speak about her latest novel, “Wilde Lake,” during a visit to the Jarrettsville Library on Wednesday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. It is the first time she is appearing at a Harford County Public Library event.
“Wilde Lake” is a legal thriller that takes place in Howard County, focusing on a prosecutor and a murder which will challenge readers’ notions of memory, loyalty, responsibility and justice. “Wilde Lake” is an evocative and psychologically complex story about a long-ago death that still haunts a family.
The book takes place in Wilde Lake, a village in Columbia. Lippman graduated from Wilde Lake High School in 1977.
The book will be available for purchase and signing at the May 18 event. For more information about Lippman’s visit to the Jarrettsville Library, call 410-692-7887.
