From One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning:
This year the children who play with the Edgewood Rec Baseball and Softball league may have more than just a home field advantage. When they play their opponents, they will also be safer. Recently, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning® based in Aberdeen, donated $5000 to the local sports league to purchase new safety equipment. The money was used to buy things like batting helmets and catcher’s gear for the children aged four through 15 who play in the league. It’s the first time in years, the league has had money to upgrade their safety equipment. “Some of the adults who used to play on this league as kids, and now volunteer as coaches, say they used the same gear our players were using. Some of it had been around since the early 90s. This is a huge help to our program,” said Edgewood Rec League President, Ben Croissant.
For almost 40 years the Stewart family has been providing heating and air conditioning service to residents in the Harford, Baltimore and Cecil county areas. “The community has been very good to us and have supported our family business, so we always try to find ways to give back,” said Matt Stewart, Managing Member of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and Mister Sparky. “We are happy we could make this donation, and we hope the players have a fun and safe season.”
