From Maryland State Police:
On April 22, 2016 at approximately 12:09 AM, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a single vehicle on Route 7 at Governor Court, Abingdon, Maryland.
Upon arrival, first responders found a damaged Honda passenger vehicle which had struck a telephone pole. The driver was transported to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center by Abingdon Fire Company ambulance, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. He was identified as Christian Serrano, 23, of Edgewood, Maryland.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the Ford was traveling westbound on Rt. 7 at Governor Court when for unknown reasons it crossed over the double yellow line, traveled off of the roadway and struck the telephone pole on the east bound side of the roadway.
Troopers from the Bel Air Barrack are continuing the investigation to determine the cause of the collision.

I passed a younger adult with a wrecked up front end on 4 door car on the shoulder, he was standing next to it with his mouth open and eyes wide open.
