From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
Harford County Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for the suspect in a robbery of a cab driver that occurred on April 17th, at approximately 3:17 a.m., in the parking lot of a business in the 500 block of Edgewood Road, Edgewood.
The unidentified black female suspect took the cab from the 2000 block of Morgan Street to the 1700 block of Meadowood Drive before asking to go to the business on Edgewood Road. The suspect entered the business, then left and reentered the cab. As they were leaving the store, the female suspect put an object to the driver’s back and demanded money. The driver accelerated returned to the parking lot, struck an ice machine in front of the building, exited the vehicle and engaged the suspect in an altercation.
The suspect fled with a small amount of loose change. She is described as a black female, approximately 5’5” tall, with dark complexion and a thin build. She was soft spoken and was wearing a black or charcoal colored hooded sweatshirt.
