The Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) Parent Satisfaction Survey deadline has been extended until April 30, 2016. This survey is open to all HCPS parents and guardians to provide feedback about each of the schools in which they have a student. A link to this anonymous survey is on the homepage of the HCPS website, www.hcps.org, under the ‘Communications’ banner, or it can be accessed by clicking here. All HCPS parents or guardians are strongly encouraged to take the time to complete this brief survey that will provide the Board of Education of Harford County with valuable feedback about the experience they have had with their child’s school. HCPS thanks its community in advance for their participation.
Why bother! the BOE will just slant the results in their favor. All the negative feedback will be painted as rosy as it can be! the truth hurts and like many government agencies the BOE will deny what’s actually happening. The system will continue to go down the toilet and the parents….students…..along with the teachers will continue to pay the price. The teachers get no support from Central and Canavan will conclude that the negative results are only from people with an ax to grind! The survey is a joke!
They are seeking feedback. They never said they were going to use the feedback, just that they are seeking it.
… And they are using taxpayer money to do it.
The survey looks to be about communication effectiveness for parents and schools to better collaborate. I appreciate the question. I generally am very happy with our schools and teachers but the tools for communication can be improved. . We do need to continue to insist on being able fully vote for our own school board and vote these do-nothing / spend-nothing clowns out of office so that we get our teachers back to being fairly compensated.
Harford County Schools seem to be afraid of their students and parents. The lack of discipline in the schools is evident and disappointing. There are no consequences for the children and they know it. They are running the schools.
