BOOK TALK….coming to the Liriodendron June 16
Get the inside scoop on great summer reads! Librarians from Harford County Public Library will be on hand at the Liriodendron to inform you about the books for children, teens, and adults that are exciting us, and that you’ll want to share with your family and friends. This noon day gathering complete with Wine and Cheese to begin, followed by an excellent lunch is limited to the first one hundred registrants.
Call the Liriodendron today to reserve your seat. Wine, Cheese, a Catered Luncheon, Book Talk, Door Prizes and Great Conversation all for $35 per person. Don’t have a library card? No problem! You can be signed up on the spot. There will be advanced readers copies of some books available as door prizes, as well as books to check out. This is a great opportunity to find out about the books that are generating the current buzz plus enjoy lunch with your friends before school lets out for the summer. MAY 6 GARDEN CLUBS OF HARFORD COUNTY having a “garden mart” 9 ’til 2, in front of the court house in Bel Air. Three garden clubs will be participating, selling baked goods, plants, and crafts. It’s organized through the Beatification Committee of Bel Air, and is the same day as First Friday in Bel Air.
