U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-Md.) today released the following statement on qualifications of Secretary Hillary Clinton to be the President of the United States:
“I don’t know anyone more qualified to be President than Hillary Clinton. She is seasoned and experienced. She knows how to help America and she knows how to protect America.
“I’ve known her as an advocate for children, a First Lady, a fellow United States Senator and a Secretary of State. She’s been an effective leader. I’ve seen it up close and personal. I’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with her championing equal pay for equal work, children’s health care and early childhood education. And I’ve always been impressed by her tremendous respect for seniors and advocacy for veterans.
“I stood with her on that dark day on September 11, 2001, when we pledged to protect America and all it stands for. As a Senator from New York, she helped pull us through.
“As Secretary of State, she was a powerhouse promoting peace. Because of her the world is a safer place.
“I’m ready for Hillary. America is ready for Hillary. And Hillary is ready to be President.”
How does Babs not choke on her words?
Because she is just like Hillary. Perhaps Babs would like to stand before the families of the men killed in Benghazi and repeat her words.

December 31 of this year. Her last 6 year term is up on that date to be succeeded by one of the clowns running for her office in this year’s election.
If Hillary hadn’t married Bill the world wouldn’t have a clue who she is… nor would we care. Any self respecting woman would have left Bill decades ago when it was clear he couldn’t keep his pants zipped but even after he humiliated her when they were in the White House with a girl young enough to be his daughter she stayed with him. Out of some great love? I don’t think she’s capable of it. She stayed for his political connections. She stayed because she was close to the power and she’s a junkie for it. If she had left him, I may have been able to gin up some respect for her but instead I see her as nothing but a political whore. Just because she’s had a lot of experience failing doesn’t make her qualified to be president.
Hillary may be more qualified than Obama but so is my goat. Hillary is a liar( email, Benghazi), a hypocrite( gun control), a scumbag( White House Travel scandal), and a all around nasty bitch. Most people who support her want a woman president, any woman. Put her in jail where she belongs.

In November of last year I thought Hillary would make a good president, too. After all, no one has worked as hard as she has to win the office.
I have since had second thoughts.
My main problem with Cruz is that he looks too much like ex-Senator Eugene McCarthy to suit me.
The suits on Wall Street are in love with Ron Paul. Boy, is he a scary character.
If we truly want to throw the bastards out, all of the current candidates are part of the current political machine except Donald Trump and Sanders.
Sanders has wonderful things to say. I was enchanted when I heard them in “Stop the War” rallies back in the ’70;s. But the same problems exist today that existed then – there are too many “if this happens, then…” that assume on the non-existent altruistic leanings of Congress and the people who put them there.
Trump is just plain scary. I have yet to hear him make a detailed recommendation for any of the problems facing this country. But the Republican Party machinery is closing ranks on him. That in itself makes me take a second look. Maybe he is “the answer.” Possible, but not probable.
Of the pack of jokers running for the office of President this year, maybe Hillary is the best the political machine has to offer?.
Well Babs, since you were elected to the Senate in ’87, and at that time the national debt was just over $2 trillion, you must be very proud of how you and your merry little band of felons on both sides of the aisle have nursed that anemic number into the healthy $19 trillion it is today… I’m just curious, with that record, why do you think anyone should trust your judgment at this point?
