From the Aberdeen Police Department:
In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 10, 2016, the Harford County Municipal SWAT team served a search and seizure warrant at a residence within the City of Aberdeen. This warrant was authored by detectives from the Aberdeen Police Department Special Operations Unit after an investigation into the sale of Marijuana and other THC* based products.
Seized in this warrant were eight (8) handguns, $16,000.00 in cash, approximately 1 pound of raw Marijuana and other Marijuana based substances, as well as electronic scales and various packaging materials. A 48 year old male resident of Aberdeen was arrested and charged. Due to the nature of the investigation, the exact identity of the man arrested and physical address of the home will not be released at this time.
*THC is the abbreviation for Tetrahydrocannabinol. THC is the primary psychoactive constituent or component of cannabis otherwise known as Marijuana.

Name and address not released due to the nature of the investigation? If there’s still an investigation, why kick in the door and serve a warrant?

Did Mayor McGrady roll in with the SWAT Team with his Torah and 45 like one of the former Mayors?

Maryland Judiciary Case Search. March 10 2016. Not hard to find if you search for Harford County criminal cases filed on March 3 2016. Just pick a letter between A and Z. and your almost half way there.

Make that March 10th.

Make it legal says
Legalize weed and this is no longer a crime.

What kind of puissant drug bust is this if they only found $16,000 in cash. Doesn’t hardly seem worth the trouble does it?
However, the guns are worrisome. You’d have thought with that much money, they wouldn’t have needed so many guns. What did our valiant boys in blue miss?

Owning 8 guns is not illegal.

I think it is if you deal drugs.

I don’t understand your comment about “Doesn’t hardly seem worth the trouble.” The police don’t arrest drug dealers as a for-profit venture. They do it to protect the community from armed drug dealers.
You may be of a different economic background than me, but $16,000 is a lot more that what I consider “walkin’ around money.”
