Detectives with the Aberdeen Police Department are investigating the robbery of a cab driver that happened on Monday, January 18, 2016.
At around 10:35 p.m. officers were called to the Aberdeen Inn Town Motel located at 404 S. Philadelphia Blvd. A Victory Cab driver told them they were called to the 400 block of S. Parke St to pick up a customer. When they arrived a white male got into the cab and threatened them with a knife while demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash before jumping out of the cab and running away.
