The United Way of Central Maryland is hosting the first Project Homeless Connct in Harford County. It is is a one-day resource fair that focuses on meeting the immediate needs of the homeless through the provision of on-site services.
Volunteers are needed to assist individuals to “navigate” through this resource fair. Volunteers will be partnered with an individual to assist him/her in identifying and prioritizing which areas of the resource fair s/he should visit for services. Some of the areas include vision services, dental services, Social Services, and even a salon – just to name a few.
