From the Bel Air Police Department:
Between December 1, 2015 and January 6, 2016, the Bel Air Police Department has received numerous reports of burglaries resulting in thefts of bicycles. The bicycles have been in the confines of the victim’s garages, porches and yards. The incidents have occurred during the overnight hours with no specific period identified.
The Bel Air Police Department would encourage everyone to secure their bicycles and note the make, model and serial number and keep this information available in the event the bicycle is stolen. If an owner-applied number (i.e. phone number or number / letter combination that is unique to the owner) is applied to the bike in an area where identification can be made by law enforcement and the owner, this will increase the chance of the property being returned.
If you have any information regarding thefts of bicycles or burglaries in the Town of Bel Air please contact Ofc. A. McComas #111 at 410-638-4500 or by email AMCCOMAS@BELAIRMD.ORG
Look for people peddling stolen goods.
I tried to think of a good response but I’m two tired.
or pedalling stolen goods…
I don’t even care about bikes. My question is what are we gonna do about all these people dying from heroin overdoses in Bel Air. When are we gonna talk about all these folks who are dying.
The people dying from drugs made the CHOICE to use drugs. Let ’em die! Why as a society should we care that these folks CHOOSE to kill themselves? How is the loss of these idiots a detriment to us as a society?
NIH:
“Although the initial decision to take drugs is voluntary for most people, the brain changes that occur over time challenge an addicted person’s self-control and hamper his or her ability to resist intense impulses to take drugs.”
