From Maryland State Police:
On December 23rd and 24th, Troopers from the JFK Highway Barrack delivered food and gifts to four needy families that the barrack “adopted” for the Christmas Holiday. Throughout December, the barrack collected food and gift donations and held fundraisers to purchase gifts for the Harford and Cecil County families.
Each family received food for a holiday meal, to include a turkey or ham, as well as several more days worth of food. There were a total of 13 children amongst the four families. Their parents or guardians were provided wrapped gifts, which included clothes, coats and toys to give to the children for Christmas.
