From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
Detectives with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division have charged two people in connection to the death of a three-month-old
boy.
Keith D. Griffin, 26, of Edgewood, and the child’s biological mother, Aja M. Terry, 26, of Edgewood, were both charged Friday in connection with the death of Aaman Perez. Both have been charged by deputies with first degree homicide, first degree child abuse, and first degree assault.
At approximately 9:40 am, on December 16, 2015, patrol deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Southern Precinct were called to a home in the 1800 block of Eloise Lane, for the report of a child in cardiac arrest. Initial reports indicated the child was choking. Responding deputies discovered the infant unresponsive, and immediately began life-saving efforts. Medics from the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company arrived at the home and took over care from deputies. Medics transported Aaman to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 a.m.
The investigation into Aaman’s death was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Deputies from the Forensic Services Unit processed the scene for evidence while detectives conducted numerous interviews. The infant’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy was performed Thursday. As a result of the autopsy, it was determined that the cause of death was head trauma and the manner of death was homicide.
Two other children belonging to Perry, Aaman’s twin brother and a five year old boy, have been placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.
Both Griffin and Terry fled the area before deputies were able to take them into custody. Around 6 a.m. Sunday morning, officers with the New Castle County Police Department, and deputies with the US Marshalls Service, arrested Terry in Newark, Delaware. She is currently being held in the State of Delaware awaiting extradition. Griffin, who is not in police custody, remains wanted for his involvement in Aaman’s death.
This investigation is active and ongoing while sheriff’s detectives pursue additional evidence and leads into the death of Aaman.
Anyone with information regarding the crime, or Griffin’s whereabouts, is asked to call Detective Yeagy at 443-409-3420. Those who wish to remain anonymous may report their information through the methods listed below. If the information you provide leads to the arrest and indictment of the individuals responsible for this crime, you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.00.

Another homicide, another typical day in Hartford County.
Meanwhile someone a few miles away got arrested for terrorist related federal crimes a week ago.

Yup says
Yes, Harford County is such a horrible place to live! I’m sure Baltimore City would love to have you as a resident.

User, “yup.” No one said Harford County is a bad place to live, what up with that?
No one is comparing a county to the crimae rate in Baltimore city, what up with that?
We went from the greatest generation of people (World War 2 veterans) to what we have now. What up with that?
The post you were replying to was merely commenting on the “norm,” daily overdoses, middle class suburbia being over run with 30 year old and under dope heads tweeking out and causing mischief. Homicide every month. Serious I95 motor vehicle crashes nearly every day between mile marker 70 and 75.
The only thing is relates to Baltimore City is that they were both featured on the TV show “Drugs Inc” heroin episode.
Enjoy.
