From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
Harford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have arrested Mickey S. Tasker, 23, in connection to an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
At approximately 9:11 pm, patrol deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Southern Precinct were called to the Walgreens in the 3000 block of Emmorton Road for the armed robbery of a person in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Patrol deputies learned the victim had just withdrawn cash from the ATM inside the store and was returning to her car when she was approached by the suspect who was armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
Tasker fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim, uninjured, ran into the store to call 911.
Patrol deputies canvased the area, but were unable to locate the suspect who had fled the area. Detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and members of the Forensic Services Unit responded to the scene to assume the investigation. Through investigation, detectives were able to identify a suspect vehicle, which lead them to Tasker, who has no fixed address.
Deputies located Tasker in the 3100 block of White Oak Drive in Abingdon, and arrested him without incident on Sunday morning.
Tasker was charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft less than $100.00, firearm use in commission of a felony, first degree assault and second degree assault.
After his arrest, Tasker was transported to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division office, where he was questioned by detectives before being transported to the Harford County Detention Center. He is currently being held on $75,000 bail.

LOL says
Sure are a lot of under 30 year olds being arrested for some serious crimes. Common theme?
Yup says
I always have a hearty laugh when these chuckleheads get arrested for robbery. They usually don’t get much money at all, yet when they’re caught, are facing 25 years in jail. Idiots and scum, all of them!
NotPC says
He may be sentenced to 25 years in prison, but the judge will suspend all but six months.
I didn do nuffin says
It’s pretty reasonable to assume your life is being threatened when someone in this instance appears to have a legitimate handgun pointing at you in an unreasonable situation (crime to be committed)
It’s also reasonable to assume you can stop the threat as your life is being threatened regardless if all you have is $2 in your wallet.
tdubs says
I wish he would have met me in that parking lot. Wouldn’t have needed the crime lab.
Nope says
Seeing the inside of a body bag trying to protect your 100 bucks.

Break into my home and you’ll be carted off with 2lbs. of lead in you.
Harford County Conceal Carry says
If you are trained to protect yourself and your family if they are with you at the ATM and this scum pulls a gun on you. I promise you at the end of my pleading with him to not shoot, giving him all my money, etc….he would have wished he did not threaten my life with a gun. Folks…support Conceal Carry laws for law abiding citizens and scum like this will think twice before pulling a gun on random people. Citizens are shot and killed over a lot less amounts of money than $100.00. Lets put Harford County on notice that random acts like this will NOT be tolerated and you WILL end up seriously injured or killed if you try to rob someone at gunpoint.
Right. says
Because as you made your sudden move to go for your weapon, he would never react by shooting you first.
Harford County Conceal Carry says
If you are properly trained. You would never suddenly go for your weapon if someone is pointing a weapon at you.
Right. says
Right. Slowly go for it, because he would never react by shooting you first.

User “Right.” Been watching movies too much? Millions of scenarios “could happen.” Its the training we fall back to. There are countless closed circuit movie clips on Liveleak and YouTube that show robberies where the employee gains the upper hand with whatever tool they are using to stop the threat.
By the way, even in this sad ass state, self defense is lawful and the method to protect your life against a threat is unlimited.
You use whatever to stop the threat, baseball bat, your car, axe, blow torch. Justified it matters not what tool you use.
Harford County Conceal Carry says
You bring a plastic knife to a gun robbery?. I’ll produce what I have then I promise you I will spend a wonderful evening with my family in front of my fireplace enjoying a movie with popcorn.
Right. says
I think you’ve been watching movies too much. You know, the ones where the good guys always get either the first shot, or the most lethal one, or both.
Locked & Loaded says
Yes because your shelter in place logic is working great you dicktard.
You keep to your Karma and I’ll stick with my G23.
Nope says
Nope he’s gonna wait for a clean shot when the perp runs away. Shooting people in the back takes skill.

Ahhhh….the fairy land of gum drops and unicorns in Harford County you live in. Assuming the Robber would NEVER EVER EVER pull the trigger and kill you over $2.00.(tongue in cheek). Roll over in your bed….snuggle with Teddy tightly while the rest of us adults will be mature enough to access an emergency situation properly, take appropriate action when necessary to protect ourselves and our families. I have watched enough videos of thugs running away from you…turning slightly and firing 10 rounds. That won’t be me my friend.
