From the Aberdeen Police Department:
On Friday, December 04, 2015, at approximately 4:00 PM, Detective’s with the Aberdeen Police Department arrested 26 year old, Scott Patrick Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence resides in the 3800 block of Washington Avenue, Abingdon, Maryland. Through a relentless investigation Mr. Lawrence was developed as a second suspect in the shooting of Officer Jason Easton. Mr. Lawrence will also be charged with the Attempted Homicide among other crimes stemming from the same incident.
In addition, a .410 caliber shotgun has been recovered and is believed to be the weapon used in the assault on Officer Easton.
Officer Easton underwent surgery around 5 p.m this evening at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is in recovery at this time and the surgery is believed to have gone well.
A GoFundMe account has been established to provide financial assistance to Officer Easton and his family.
Glad this dirtbag is behind bars. Hopefully they keep him there for a long time. Scott Lawrence you are a pathetic waste of space and oxygen. Officer Easton I am praying for you and your family.
