Today, I announced my candidacy to be the next United States Senator from Maryland. We have a paralyzed government incapable of solving even our most basic needs. I for one can no longer standby waiting for those we’ve sent to Washington to solve our problems, because they haven’t. And I’m not naïve enough to think I can just ride into the Senate on a white horse and do it all by myself. It’s going to take a lot of new people who aren’t professional politicians to step up – average citizens with college degrees and others without. Goodness knows, they can’t be any worse than the gang running things now!
Deep in our hearts, most of us – regardless of political preferences – believe in the promise of America and the power of the American Dream. We are agents of change motivated by our love of God, family, state and country. We want to rediscover a way of life as it used to be; when things really did work.
I want to serve in the US Senate to champion those forgotten Americans who are decent, responsible citizens yearning for the opportunity to work hard, pay the bills, raise a family, live a full life and yes, dream again what we seem to be losing – the American dream.
The only thing that you have that resonates with voters is the bit about a horse. You just forgot to emphasize which part you represent (but its pretty obvious anyway).
How unfortunate the Dagger chose to remove the thumb down button. It would be very appropriate to use for your comment.

Szelegia, an advocate for education? Her votes against education are well documented by her 2015 vote against the passage of the State Budget which provides educational support for schools through out Maryland.
Lol, She’s been a professional politician since she was a Harris aide.
Last night on the news she talked about career politicians. The problem is, she and almost everyone in congressional office are career politicians, whether they’re Democrat or Republican. They run year after year and they don’t know when to give it up and move on to something else. I do wish her luck though. If Hogan can become governor, she can certainly win that senate seat.
A True Conservative knows this candidate is a hack. Votes with Dems over 80% of the time. Also, lets not forget HB1513……..Don’t think we won’t bring that up. She is exactly what we DON”T need representing us.

What kind of foolish politician thinks Government is supposed to “solve basic needs” ? What does that even mean? Hey Government Clowns, JUST GET OUT OF THE WAY. Go sit down and stop getting involved in every aspect of life. We don’t need you to solve anything., That is not your job.

And know Glassman is seriously consider running after only being in office for 11 months and making all kinds of changes. Wasn’t he all about “Coming Home” from Annapolis, now he wants to go to Washington? Not an improvement at all Barry.
Harford Voter is absolutely correct! What about that “coming home” agenda?
I don’t think that the Harford County voters will be very happy about that! 🙁
