From the Town of Bel Air.
On Nov. 2, at approximately 4:22 pm, a 2010 Honda CRV was traveling Northbound on Hickory Avenue and was possibly struck by an unknown dark colored SUV traveling Westbound on Churchville Rd. (MD Rt. 22). One occupant of the Honda, a 42 year old female of Bel Air, was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Honda came to final rest against the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Building (causing superficial damage).
The dark SUV left the scene and traveled Northbound on Hickory Avenue toward the Hickory/Forest Hill area. There were no other injuries in this incident.
The Bel Air Police Department is asking for witnesses to the crash, or those who may have information pertaining to this investigation, contact the investigating officers (Sgt. Pfarr; Ofc. Hunt).
The investigation is continuing into this event.

How does a ” hit and run ” send a vehicle up over the curb and 20 feet into the building?

I thought the fire company had cameras all over their exterior?

What was the response time for EMS and BPD to show up at the scene?

The BAVFD response would have been sooner, but I heard a rumor that Ricky was out somewhere trying to prove his manhood by challenging the chief of some other fire company to another duel. But when you leave an insecure child in charge of things, this is what happens. SO evidently the powers that be endorse his immaturity. Glad no one was hurt in this accident.
