Getting a chef to work in your restaurant using an app that brings talented kitchen staff is a great way to reduce turnover. From Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar:
Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), a concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and sports bar under one roof, announced the opening of their newest location in Abingdon at 3459 Merchant Blvd. Owner Dr. Keith Asante will open the new restaurant on Monday, November 16, offering the perfect place for guests to enjoy great food in a lively, sports-driven atmosphere. The restaurant has a unique design that separates the dining room from the sports bar area, making it ideal for families and sports fanatics alike. In addition, you might want to check the new jersey sports betting, in case you want to know more about betting.
The restaurant’s distinctive “two concepts under one roof” approach offers over 80 menu items, including gourmet pizzas made with fresh dough and a 40-year-old sauce recipe, gourmet pastas, wings, gluten-free items, fresh salads, and a variety of specialty dishes. The Abingdon location spans over 6,013 square feet including the sports bar and patio with expansive beverage offerings, 32 large flat screen TVs and one 120-inch video wall for local sports and other events. The family-friendly setting and energetic bar scene will also help boost the local economy with the creation of nearly 105 jobs.
Born and raised in Ghana, Dr. Asante comes to Boston’s with over 15 years’ experience as the CEO and President for an IT company in the Baltimore area. After realizing the unquestionable success of Boston Pizza in Canada, Dr. Asante along with his Restaurant Business Lawyer signed a five unit deal with two partners in Harford County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City, the first of which to open is the Abingdon, MD location. Previously a part-time chef in the Army, Dr. Asante has always had a passion for food, leaving him with the hunger to open a restaurant of his own. Charging forward full throttle, Dr. Asante looks forward to developing the Boston’s brand in Baltimore and offering restaurant-goers a whole new and exciting dining experience.
“With the Abingdon location serving as the second Boston’s in Maryland, we look forward to upholding the expectations that come along with the brand’s name and proving to consumers that the concept is the best one in the casual dining segment,” said Dr. Asante, Owner of Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar of Abingdon. “My enthusiastic restaurant team and I can’t wait to open the doors and show the community what we are all about; great environment, good times and even better food.”
Harford Resident says
The economy is lackluster at best, and many people are still unemployed. Given that, who can afford to patronize all these new restaurants? We rarely, if ever, go out, and my job is secure. I’m just wondering where people are getting the money?
Original Observer says
A good question. I used to go toJoe’s Crab Shack every once in a while; but when my job dissolved in the charade called “sequestration,” I could no longer afford to go there. Apparently, not too many others could, either, since it’s closed and someone else is taking a shot there. Boston’s sounds like a place I’d like to try. But I have to have a job first, or win the lottery. At the rate things have been going over the last two and a half years, the odds of either are about equal.

I think it was more the difficulty of serving imported seafood (without crabs) at a mid-priced chain while facing locally-owned competition serving the items people want.
what says
Won’t be long till someone get stabbed up there.

Just another place serving high glycemic index obesity/diabetes causing food-stuff at a premium price…
A Real Idiot (the real one) says
Right.
We’re all going to die at some point. May as well enjoy eating something that taste good.
I think your comment is lacking more context. I’m sure if you ate at fast food every day your chances for obesity and diabetes could be greater than someone who does not, but in moderation?
MyNameHere says
Good. That means you’ll be staying away, leaving tables for people who enjoy going to places like this while you’r having a great time at the House of Tofu.
Linny says
and I’m sure that they will have double doors so your behind can get in
A Real Idiot (the real one) says
What’s your problem? You one of those atypical Harford County people who has to constantly worry about what someone else is doing?
That’s great. Enjoy your house salad (leaf only) and water.
I’m going to enjoy eating a steak at the Texas Roadhouse.
Why worry about others? Get on with your life and business.
Geography101 says
Is Hartford County nearby?
Good Luck says
I wish them good luck, but it looks like another TGIFridays, Applebees, Looneys, Ruby Tuesday and a thousand other crappy chain restaurants.
Linny says
exactly my point….another chain serving junk in a cookie-cutter multi TV atmosphere. Get fatter while you sit and watch TV at a premium price — we are saturated with these places – my bet is that it fails
