Got enough money for an Under Armor Hoodie but still feel the need to steal. Hopefully these punks get some street justice. Come through my door trying to steal and I will put you 6 feet underground.

That hoodie is probably stolen… They were just a couple blocks from certain death that’s for sure! Harford County is definitely getting worse with thefts and break-ins,freakin dopefiends…

Not likely they are white. They will likely get caught and have their trials dragged out for 2 years and than senencing for another 2 years like Kyle Reddish.

The neighborhood where I live has our own known thief and the sad part is everyone knows who he is!!! He’s even been caught with stolen items, yet I don’t understand how he’s able to keep his butt out of jail….but that’s okay because one of these times he’s going to break into the wrong house (like mine) and not come out with anything but a body bag if he’s lucky..heck maybe just a sheet. Along with his Mother and girlfriend one of which is usually helping him out. Seems like Harford County is being over taken by all these drug addicts and yes that’s what most of these thieves steal for, it’s not for the money to feed their families or to pay their bills. It’s to support their drug habit(s). It’s sad to be able to sit and watch what people do on a daily basis, yet the police come and go and nothing gets done. Well like I said that’s okay because one of these times he’s gonna hit the wrong house, then we’ll have one less drug addicted thief around.

Yes maybe shooting them is what they deserve, however Maryland Law says you cannot protect your property with deadly force. I am a firearms owner and part time instructor, and still marvel at the lack of understanding of the laws here in Maryland. A good alarm system is just about all it takes to repel these scumbagsto go somewhere else. Just saying that shooting someone takes care of the problem isn’t the final answer.
what says
When an intruder breaks in and wakes homeowners in their bedrooms, the modified Maryland Castle Doctrine may protect the residents from criminal charges if they shoot the home invader(s) in self-defense. However, not all cases are clear-cut, and shooters could end up facing murder charges. If you find yourself forced to use deadly force defend yourself in your home, you need advice from an experienced criminal defense attorney before you make any statements to the police.
A recent case illustrates just how complicated these cases can be. According to The Capital®, a Glen Burnie man was charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and the use of a firearm in a felony violent crime after he shot and killed a man he believed had a prior relationship with his wife who broke into their home at 2:00 am after being turned away at the door. The Castle Doctrine permits this type of response to intruders as long as the shooter reasonably believes deadly force is necessary and the amount and nature of the force is reasonable based on the circumstances. However, police raised the following concerns:
– Whether the homeowner had the opportunity to call 911
– Whether the homeowner believed the intruder had a weapon when none was found on his person
– Whether the intruder’s alleged prior relationship with the shooter’s wife influenced the husband’s violent response to the intrusion
Your act of self-defense might have been fully justified. However, particularly if the intruder is killed in the exchange, police must rely on physical evidence at the scene and your statements to determine if your actions were valid under the circumstances. Even a poor choice of words when you respond to police questioning can be used as evidence against you. If you are arrested in Southern Maryland, take your Miranda rights seriously. Tell police you want all questioning to stop, and ask to call a criminal defense lawyer.
