Parishioners setting up extra stove in preparation to bake apple cakes for the Darlington Apple Festival this weekend inadvertently sparked a fire in an historic Dublin church.
Upon plugging in the stove, just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, two burners were on and ignited a Tupperware box while the parishioners were in another room of the Dublin United Methodist Church in the 1500 block of Whiteford Road in Street. An automatic alarm alerted church members, who extinguished the fire with a portable fire extinguisher. Moderate smoke and soot damage, estimated at $5,000, was present throughout the basement of the historic two-story church.
Emergency personnel were dispatched after the alarm sounded and 20 personnel from fire companies in Darlington, Bel Air, Whiteford, and Level responded.

So where are all the Dagger’s usual A-HOLES? You guys aren’t gonna comment on how “stupid” these church goers are? You had no problem singling out the victims of the church scam! C’mon “Barbara” and “Seagram99”, lets hear how stupid these people are. You guys disgust me…….

Hey Soul. I comment once in a blue moon here and I’m one of the “usual A-Holes”. Your a bigger dickhead than your “the establishment is out to get poor little ol me” posts proves you are.

WOW, I’m really surprised the DAGGER allowed that statement. They wouldn’t have allowed me to use that profanity. You can think whatever you want and call me whatever you want. However, I am the truth and I don’t care if the readers of the DAGGER don’t like or want to hear the truth. Now, that establishment you refer to are the REAL criminals of Harford County. Now they aren’t out to get me. I’ve already been gotten by your Republican Nazis of the Harford County Criminal Justice System. You are without a doubt as useless as Marc Eaton and I believe you are Marc Eaton. If not, you should consider yourself just like Eaton. A complete waste of flesh……
