From the Humane Society of Harford County:
The construction of our new shelter is kicking into high gear!
With much of the exterior already erected, the construction crew will soon start working on the sewer and septic lines for the new shelter. Furthermore, the contractors have been approved to work on Saturdays and Sundays, which will speed things along. Because of this, we are very excited to announce that the current move-in date is November 19, 2015 and the current completion date is December 25, 2015.
What a stellar gift for the holidays this new shelter will be!

Wondering if the shelter will have individual outside runs? Is there a place to view the plans?

How is Connelly Road going to handle the extra traffic from this much bigger facility? I see all sorts of construction going on in the Fallston/Bel Air/Churchville areas. Unfortunately, I don’t see any type of infrastructure expansion.

Building “stuff” and no road upgrades you say? Welcome to Harford County. Are you new?

I love the SHA lane adding project in Aberdump/Route 22. I have to ask… “Why?” … When there are many more state roads that could have just used that money to repave/other necessary upgrades. LOL
Route 22 sees marginal congestion for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening when all the non drivers with those stickers in the lower left hand of the front windshield get off work.
Look at how much it didn’t make a difference adding 1 big turn lane 715 to 40 to Route 7 did. “Ker plunk” sound of a turd hitting the bowls water.

Don’t expect to find too many puppies up for adoption. Rumor is the new executive director Jen wants all pregnant dog and cats that are brought in to have their pregnancies termanated. Is it just me or is this sick?
