In the future when referring to a 13 year old girl, please preface her name with Miss not Ms.. Ms. is a term for adult women who choose not to be identified as married or single.
Don't Nitpick says
Ms.
/miz/
noun
a title used before the surname or full name of any woman regardless of her marital status

Don’t Nitpick, don’t ruin the enthusiasm of the article by going after me. I stated exactly what you printed. The key word is woman. I suppose someone, somewhere could argue the point that a 13 year old female is a woman. In my world, she is still a child; a new teenager. The word Ms. with regard to the article was used incorrectly. It does not take away from the winner of the contest and her beautiful photograph. I actually learned from this because prior to my second post I researched the history plus why and how Ms., Mrs., and Miss are used.
Get a Life says
K, are you serious with this Ms./Miss thing? Get a life you loser.
” I actually learned from this because prior to my second post I researched the history plus why and how Ms., Mrs., and Miss are used.”
No, that isn’t weird AT ALL. Completely normal. Now go back in your Mom’s basement and research how to sit on a fence post.
