From the Aberdeen Police Department:
An observant Aberdeen resident called the Aberdeen Police Department last night around 8:30 p.m. to alert them of some suspicious people behind their home on Paradise Rd. When Officers arrived they determined that two nearby homes were unoccupied. While checking one of those homes on Westwood Drive the Officers discovered an unlocked door. Once they entered the house they heard noises coming from the second floor. Three teenaged male burglars were then apprehended. The teens, ages 16 and 17, were found to be in possession of numerous pieces of women’s jewelry. They were all arrested and charged as juveniles with first & fourth degree burglary. All three teens reside in Aberdeen.
Citizens and Officers working together is what led to the successful apprehension of these burglars. The Aberdeen Police Department encourages everyone to please call and report any and all persons or activities they find to be out of the ordinary or suspicious.
