From the Aberdeen Police Department:
Aberdeen Police Department responded to a call for an assault in the 1000 block of Warwick Dr around 12:17 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
When they arrived they spoke with 35 year old Tegegne Gubay. Gubay told them he was assaulted by his cousin who had been waiting for him when he returned home to his apartment on Warwick Dr. Officers then contacted his cousin, 27 year old Bishaw Melese at his home nearby on Plaza Ct. They located Melese on the front porch, bleeding from his arm. He stated that his cousin cut him with a knife during the assault.
Melese was taken by ambulance to John’s Hopkin’s Bayview hospital for treatment. Gubay was arrested at his home and the box cutter knife believed to be involved was recovered. The argument and assault were allegedly over money.
Doesn’t anyone name their kids John and Mary any more?
