From Friends of Harford:
The Department of Planning & Zoning has stated that they will start writing the Draft Master Plan from the comments provided by the public on or around June 15th. Then a second set of questions will be put online and the public will again be asked for feedback. After that, the Draft Master Plan will be put out for public comment. There is no detailed schedule given, we know only that they have “a tight timeline.”
We would expect some sort of announcement or explanation on their HarfordNEXT webpage soon. We did provide suggestions on improving portions of the HarfordNEXT website to make it easier and clearer to use. We were assured that the public can add to their initial comments until the the deadline has passed (first deadline: June 15).
During this entire process, citizens will be able to comment via the Open Town Hall “questionnaire”, email, letter or phone call to the Department of Planning and Zoning (contact info is on the bottom of the HarfordNEXT webpage).
Recommend that you get your comments on the current questions in very quickly…. Here.
