From the Office of the State Fire Marshal:
A joint investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office has been concluded by arrest. Investigators have charged Timothy Scott Rogers (19) of Edgewood with arson related charges after determining he was responsible for attempting to burn the front porch of a home after a dispute over a domestic issue.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:54 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 600 Buoy Court in Edgewood. Investigators were contacted after a neighbor observed Rogers pour suspected gasoline on the porch of the structure. The alert neighbor yelled at Rogers, who then fled the scene. Upon arrival of Harford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies searched the area and after a short foot chase, apprehended Rogers.
Rogers was charged with Attempted 1st Degree Arson, Failing to Obey a Reasonable/Lawful Order, Resist/Interfere with Arrest and Reckless Endangerment. He was transported to the Harford County Detention Center where he remains on $100,000.00 bond. No injuries were reported during the incident.

I know him, he makes poor decisions. However, this might not be the way to punish him. If it is, he deserves it and he’ll do the time. He’s not cut out for jail, what he needed was a good kick in the ass at 14.I always tried to keep him out of trouble but couldn’t I moved on and went away to college. Just sorry I couldn’t be there after high school.
