Harford Artists open their Studios for public tour
Bel Air, MD, May 1 through May 3 /Harford Artists’ Association, Inc/- The Harford Artists Association is hosting their first Artists’ Studio Tour. The tour will begin at the Harford Artists’ Gallery 503 Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 with a kick off “Meet the Artists Reception” on Friday, May 1 at 6:00 p.m. The tour is free and open to the public. Maps will be available at the reception and picked up at the Gallery showing the location of each participating artist’s studio.
The artists’ studios will open to the public on Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 am till 5:00 pm, and Sunday, May 3 from 12:00 pm till 5:00 pm. This Artists’ Studio tour will showcase the many talented artists of Harford County.
The public will meet the artists and hear them speak about what inspires them, how they create their works of art and how they reach out to the community through exhibits, commissions and teaching. This tour will present Fiber-artist, Sculptors, potters, water-colorists, oil painters, pastelists, mix-media artists and jewelry artists. The works that can be seen at their studios range from Harford County landscapes, portraits, still-lifes, abstract designs and functional art.

I took the tour on Saturday and highly recommend it. The artwork is absolutely wonderful and the homes are equally beautiful. It is also such a pretty time to drive through Harford’s countryside to see the trees and flowers finally come into bloom.
