From the office of the Comptroller of Maryland:
Comptroller Peter Franchot will present a proclamation to Laurie Orfanidis, owner of the Sunny Day Café in Bel Air, on Wednesday recognizing the restaurant’s commitment to the local community and for providing great customer service.
Orfanidis, who has been in the restaurant business for 35 years, opened the café in late 2012 with the help of her husband, Nick, and their sons, Evan and Jerry, along with friends. The café serves soups, salads and homemade dishes. It is well known for its crepes and emphasis on customer service.
