From the Aberdeen Police Department:
On Sunday, April 19, 2015, at approximately 2:19 AM, the Aberdeen Police Department responded to the unit block of Post Road in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival responding officers located a male suffering from a stab wound, allegedly sustained during an altercation. The male who sustained the stab wound was identified as David Wallace (male, black, 33 years of age).
Wallace was transported by Aberdeen Fire and EMS to John’s Hopkins Bayview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Statements obtained from witnesses at the scene describe a physical altercation between David Wallace and Jumal Dudley (male, black, 41 years of age) that ultimately resulted in Dudley stabbing Wallace. Both Dudley and Wallace are Aberdeen residents. The details of this investigation will be forwarded to the Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office for review prior to charges being filed.
This incident was not a random attack and occurred between two parties who are familiar with one another.
