Fire officials are seeking two suspects in connection with an overnight fire which gutted a car in Aberdeen.
The fire was reported by a neighbor at a home in the 1400 block of Wellspring Drive in Aberdeen at approximately 12:16 a.m., according to a release from the Office of the State Fire Marshal. A total of six firefighters from the Aberdeen Fire Department responded and brought the blaze under control in five minutes.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $25,000, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office. The fire was caused by incendiary means, and two suspects were observed fleeing from the scene.
