From the Aberdeen Police Department:
On Thursday, March 26, 2015, at approximately 3:54 am officers from the Aberdeen Police Department responded to the area of Baltimore St & Schmechel St for report of a robbery.
Upon arrival officers located one male victim at the dead end of Schmechel St. A second male victim was also located on a foot path to the railroad tracks near Market St & Schmechel St. Both victims stated that they were walking along the foot path when they were approached by four black males. The suspects assaulted them and forcefully took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing towards the railroad tracks. There were no weapons involved.
Both victims were transported to Harford Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. There is no further description of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Divel of the Aberdeen Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 410-272-2121.

You act as if the City of Aberdeen and its citizens somehow got taken in on this. The office space developer bought an unused piece of an old gravel pit and built office space. A real estate developer bought a golf course that wasn’t making money and built houses. Both businesses got taken by the promise of BRAC increasing the local population and the demand for space from military contractors, but it is those businesses who are suffering the speculatory losses, not the CoA. You can make the argument that it looks bad for Aberdeen to have empty/unused space, but that doesn’t sound like what you are saying.
Can anyone walk at any time of day safely anymore?? This is why you have to protect yourself somehow/someway when thugs approach you with intentions to harm…steal my money…touch me..why can’t you work for an honest dollar $…I wouldn’t be out that time of day, but it is America! Sad this happens, very disturbing.
