From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
On Sunday, March 8, 2015, at approximately 1:21 am, Harford County Sheriff Office deputies responded to the scene of a single vehicle crash on Old Federal Hill Road near the intersection of W. Jarrettsville Road.
Information gathered at the scene indicated the driver of the 1997 Mercedes sedan was traveling north on Old Federal Hill Road, having just turned off of W. Jarrettsville Road where it appears the driver lost control of the car and struck a telephone pole. The driver, identified as Jonathan David Mickey, age 37 of Jarrettsville, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in the vehicle. Mickey’s body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit responded to the scene to investigate the cause and circumstances of the crash. Preliminary investigation leads deputies to believe speed and icy road conditions were contributing factors.
Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to contact the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit at (443) 409-3324. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
This is a sad tragedy that need not have occurred. When will people learn that speed and icy roads do not mix?

They would not have released any information if they weren’t majority certain of their conclusion. You know, the PR thing.

You assholes dont know the whole story. So before you you go placing any kind of comment realize the seriousness of the situation. A man lost his life, he has a daughter that will never see him again. And friends, family, and close ones, that will miss him. He was a much better person than anyone of you posting on this. you could learn from him. So think about this before you open your mouths.

I don’t get what your problem is. No one said anything bad about the victim. The closest negative thing about him was a general comment about speed and ice.

It has not even been 24 hours yet people. Give the man a break everyone is still in shock and trying to process this.. It is crazy thinking of a world without Mickey. Tragic lose. Just remember no matter the circumstances these stories have actual faces with names, stories of their own, and a ton of people that they have touched. Reading any sort of negativity what so ever on here is a negative blow none of us need at such a tragic time.

If you were any sort of smart you would realize that when somthing tragic happens people’s emotions are heightened and they say things that they would not normally say in a normal situation. The smart remarks you guys are replying with is only adding to the problem. Two wrongs do not make a right. Try to be a a bit more empathetic and understanding.
