From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
On Sunday, February 22, around 11:40 a.m., Harford County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1500 block of Robinson Mill Road in Darlington for a report of a person who had been shot.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that the victim, female, age 43, had been driven from the scene by a private party after she was shot by her boyfriend. The victim was taken to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Department, stabilized, and flown by state police helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment of what are believed at this time to be non-life threatening injuries.
During the early stages of the investigation, deputies determined that the female victim had been shot by a shotgun and sustained injuries to the upper arm. Deputies, after a brief search, located the suspect, age 46 to the rear of the Robinson Mill Road address and took him into custody without incident.
No further details are available at this time, the investigation is ongoing.
