Thank God Jeff is hanging out at the detention center more than Bane did.

You must have been one of the jokers cut loose by Gahler. What a sad life you must be living.

Don’t be bitter Chuck Moore!

Gahler doesn’t bang out at the detention center. He has only been there a a few times. This could have happened on Bane’s watch too. Obviously you have something against Gahler. Maybe you shouldn’t have been spreading lies about Gahler to the farmers in northern harford county before the election and you would still have a job.

You might want to keep up on your comment reading.

And you guessing skills suck too.

@Huh?
This looks like you are saying you are L. Jesse Bane. In response to someone saying you might still have a job, you call them out on it and tell them they are wrong and refer them to an article where only one person, Bane, has got a new job! Are you or did you accidentally just tell us all that you are L. Jesse? Shameful new low even for you.
Huh? says
There is a very clear reason you are a CO and not a detective.
Are you the retard that does the dishes?
Union Member says
Nope, just your spouse.
Freestate? says
Anybody want to share their expert police thoughts on the article. You know the whole stolen car thing.
Huh? says
Unfortunately Harford county has an elected Sheriff with a department of deputies. Police departments are for the more refined counties.
This bunch of boobs couldn’t catch the hamburglar in line at drunkin dognuts.

I’m pretty sure it’s a Sheriff’s Office in Harford, not a Department. That said I have always thought Harford County has been a hidden secret in Maryland, a great place to live in work. The Deputies, Troopers, and Town Cops work pretty hard from what I’ve seen to keep it that way. Sure there are some crappy cops, but same can be said regardless of the jurisdiction or profession. I would love to see how our sheriff’s office stacks up against neighboring jurisdictions with regards to clearance rates for cases such as auto theft and murder. Hopefully they will add to that rate after catching the jerks that stole in our backyard.

These old classic cars do not have transponder based ignitions (chip embedded in key that communicates with vehicle engines ecm, electronic control module) so the theft was pretty fast and easy. The recovery rate on stolen cars is roughly 68% meaning 32 out of every 100 cars are never recovered. Reason being some vehicles are illegally exported, stripped, torched, cloned, or dumped in a body of water. With these cases depicted above my guess is the M. O. Is to either strip them down for parts or clone, either would be quite profitable in the classic car realm. If I was investigating the case, I would of course comb craigslist, and eBay for suspicious sales, I would also establish as much as I could as far as background victim information. How long have they owned it, who did they recently show it to, etc. Visit upcoming shows especially in the PA and DE area, as this would muddy jurisdictional waters in a criminals mind.

I think it was covered on season two of the Wire.
