A Forest Hill home sustained moderate damage in a fire which broke out Sunday evening, fire officials said.
The fire was reported by the occupant of a two-story home in the 1300 block of Boggs Road in Forest Hill shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, according to a statement from the Office of the State Fire Marshal. A total of 30 firefighters from the Fallston, Bel Air, Jarrettsville, and Joppa-Magnolia volunteer fire companies as well as the Harford County Hazmat Team brought the blaze under control in approximately 45 minutes.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation Monday morning, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Damage to the home was estimated at $10,000, while damages to its contents were estimated at $5,000.
