Same tired people, same sinking ship. When we voted for change, we didn’t vote for the same people that were already there. I was looking at the list and it didn’t impress me. Why would you be voted in and still have the same failed people making decisions. Where are the new ideas on how to change Maryland.
Guess it’s gonna be four more years of talk and less action. I’m getting tired of seeing the name on the door change and the same people coming in and taking taxpayer dollars for doing nothing.
WE VOTED FOR CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT A TITANIC WITH THE SEATS FILLED WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
Michael says
Vote along party lines is not a vote for change. The other party is just a switch, not a change. If you want change, you have to separate the good from the bad, regardless of party.

So, I wonder what post David Craig has been promised when Hogan is sworn in as Governor? The Ehrlich crowd has risen from the political grave to assume power once again. And Helen Bentley?! How old is she now?
Practical Guy says
Chill out. It’s ceremonial. Mr. Hogan is the first nonprofessional-politician in ….decades(centuries). These “old” guys/gals can show him doors he might not even know about. What’s important is what he does when he gets the levers. Stay calm and be glad it ain’t Brown.
W.T.F.? says
These are non-salaried positions, correct?
Comment Sense says
Yes, but watch out, because our “soon to be” former County Executive will definitely be on the government payroll again (but this time with an even bigger paycheck). And, D.C. Vetoed the raise for the incoming County Executive….. (hypocrite!). A.M.F.!!!!
Concerned Citizen says
I am pretty satisfied with Governor Hogan’s choices so far. And I hope that David Craig gets a high level cabinet position within the new Administration. Whether you want to believe it or not, he did a fantastic job for Harford County and will continue to do a fantastic job for our State. Not every decision will meet the approval of each and every citizen. However, Mr. Craig ran Harford County as if it were a business which will always piss off those that believe in entitlements without having the revenue to support the handouts. Think for a minute what the names on the list would look like if the loser Anthony Brown was in charge. Governor Hogan is far from the “Same tired people, same sinking ship”.
Rose Colored Glasses says
take off your rose colored glasses. the only thing Craig did was not give employees raises and buy more land in Havre de Grace that was already not approved. He created positions, for family and friends and could have cared less what people thought. I sure hope he goes away. He was an arrogant, self serving politician. He is doing what Harkins did, but only waited till the end of his term. Oh and who writes a book at the end of his term, in county government. I’m sure glad he is leaving, but I am sure he will land on his feet in a job that requires little work for lots of pay.

It is the same tired people and the same sinking ship. Look at the list. You have a former minority leader, who complained the whole way about losing. She probably still complains to anyone who will listen. You have the “former” CE for Harford County and you have some other notable people who are famous in their own right. I sure hope this businessman can come in and run a government. Just make sure to get a first class ticket on the sinking ship. We voted for a change. NOT the same tired people for the former republican administration.
