Harford County Department of Office of Information and Communication Technology employee Peter Brown has been named the Harford County Employee of the Month for November 2014. Brown is a computer system engineer with the Office of Information and Communication Technology.
Brown’s pivotal role in the implementation of OICT’s Harford Metro Area Network (HMAN) project helps secure its success. He helped build, and develop a network that will not only improve the connection within inter-county and municipal government agencies, but improve the quality of life for citizens as well.
Brown is quick to take the call or run to a site to determine the cause and resolve any problems that arise concerning network outages of any type. Many times Brown has been called out after work hours, in the early morning and during holidays to repair or resolve an issue. He always has a smile and friendly nature offering confidence that his knowledge and support will get the job done.
