Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) is proud to announce the winners of its Annual College Scholarship Competition awarding $15,000 to fifteen local teens.
A reception honoring the student-members was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at APG Federal Credit Union’s Operations Center in Edgewood. The scholarships were awarded to the following students:

Home schooled, John Carroll, Fallston, Bel Air, Cecil County that’s very nice for the kids but they would probably go to college anyway on other scholarships How about giving it to students that actually deserve and NEED the help. I have seen the dirty little scholarship game first hand and how its played. APGFCU should list the criteria behind their selections. Still, congratulations to those that earned it and good to be you to the ones that are connected..

Why don’t the give the extra money back to the members in the way of higher dividend on their savings. These kids can get a job and pay for college like everyone else.
