The Bel Air Recreation Committee has released the entertainment schedule for their annual arts festival, which will be held Sunday September 21, behind the Bel Air Town Hall on Hickory Ave from 10-5. The Harford Ballet, performing at 9:00 is first in the line-up of continuous entertainment on the bandshell stage. They’ll be followed by the Silver Eagle Cloggers at 10:00 and Chuck Baker Orchestra at 10:45. Sounding Brass will perform at 11:40, and Ryan-Kilcoyne Irish Dance at 12:35. Big Bertha’s Rhythm Kings will sing at 1:30, followed by the Upper Chesapeake Chorus at 2:45, and the Members of Applause at 3:25. The Bel Air Community Band will play at 4:00 through till the end of the festival.
This popular event features the fine art, photography and the juried craftwork of 350 exhibitors. Great food will be available, the sales of which benefit a variety of Bel Air Parks and Rec programs. Free shuttle bus service will carry festival-goers from the MVA on Rt 24 to the park and back from 9:30 am till 5:30 pm. Admission to the festival is FREE! This is a rain or shine event.
