Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding to Hold Fourth Annual Benefit Polo Match Aug. 22

Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding invites you to its 4th Annual Benefit Polo Match on Friday, August 22, 2014, at the Maryland Polo Club located at 3629 Fallston Road, Jarrettsville, MD.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the Polo match begins at 5:30 p.m. The evening competition also includes a Champagne Divot Stomp at halftime.

From the comfort of a private tent, attendees will enjoy an excellent view of the Polo match along with elegant fare and cool libations from Laurrapin, live music, and a unique variety of live and silent auction items.

All proceeds will benefit Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding’s campaign to build a permanent therapeutic center in Harford County.

Due to the nature of Polo, should the organizers deem the field too wet or the weather too foul, the event may be moved to Elkridge Harford Hunt Club’s clubhouse at 3403 Pocock Road, Monkton, MD.

Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding is a nonprofit organization that uses horses and horse-related activities as a means to provide therapeutic recreation and alternative therapies to children and adults with special needs, disadvantaged/at-risk youth, and the elderly.
